Home News & Events What we have been doing at school this week!
In Green Class we have been learning about place value and measure in maths and continuing to improve our reading skills. For our Relationships Topic we have been practising our letter writing skills and email writing skills; plus, making good decisions when around others in the playground, classrooms and dining room, e.g. taking turns, lining up nicely and cooperation skills. A highlight of the week was testing out the brilliant new scooters.

Turtle class have had a great week, place value learning in maths has continued and adjective work in English, with learners demonstrating their understanding. We completed group activities in science working together to sort animals into groups of what they eat and talking about food chains. Relationships building was school wide as we joined for crafts and creative challenges of bridge building and lots of interactions in our play areas. Children were given a chance to come to together and decide and invest in their own school by discussing the playground agreement to keep us all safe. Well done everyone.

This week Polar Bear Class have been exploring the natural world by making their own gelatine models to fit on windows. The children have made a wonderful cardboard den which they have shared with their school friends. They also supported the wonderful school cook in making popcorn which they took around the school to share.Polar Bear Class were also very excited to help build the new scooters which they helped to choose. The young people tried the scooters out and helped write a list of further improvements. Polar Bear class thank you for all your suggestions and help this week!
